brave heart. Lively, Hopeful, Adventurous, Dreamer, Really
close to her father.
2. Malahayati (Adult):
Young adult (28 years old). The adult version of
Malahayati. Coming to her senses, more realistic, falling
into Ayah’s footsteps, more leadership, and learning about
martial arts.
3. Admiral Mahmud Syah:
Old man (50 years old). The father of Malahayati, Leader of
Sultanate Aceh. Leadership aura, independent, caring.
4. Balangingi:
Old man (48 years old) A leader of a secret Aceh force who
will become Malahayati's teacher/mentor in developing her
martial arts skills.

Captain, it seems we have a common enemy. The Sultanate of Aceh!

They've been a thorn in our side for years, disrupting trade and
raiding our fellow pirates. They've also been a nuisance to your
Portuguese ventures.

If we join forces, we can crush them once and for all, and then
divide the spoils of war between us.

Malahayati Adult
We must face this dual-threat with courage and sound strategy.
They will not be able to destroy the Sultanate of Aceh!

Shouting

I promise never to leave the Sultanate of Aceh and its people. I

am ready to continue to fight for the safety and prosperity of
Aceh, even in the face of threats. This is my pledge.

Malahayati Teenager
I wish one day; I could travel across the sea. To explore parts
of the world, just like them soldiers . Perhaps someday I will
write my own tale! The girl who challenges her own destiny. Just
like those who dare to conquer the sea and this vast world.

Balangingi
Sultan, the situation in the Malacca Strait is getting worse.
There's a dreadful threat: ruthless pirates are emerging, poised
to disrupt the trade routes of the Sultanate of Aceh. They are
constantly lurking for our ships.

If we’re going to undertake the covert mission to protect the

Malacca Strait and the Sultanate of Aceh, I would like to bring
Malahayati. I believe she possesses remarkable potential to be a
leader, just like you.

Sultan Mahmud Syah

Balangingi, Malahayati is still too young and unprepared for a

task like this. She needs to learn more at the academy. I don't
want to risk her safety. Malahayati, she is my hope and light.

EXT. BEACH SHORE - DAY

Malahayati and her friends are playing traditional Acehnese

games.

In the distance we see some fishermen. Malahayati looks at them

from afar, dreaming of one day traveling across the sea.

Malahayati(Inner Voice)
I wish one day; one day I could travel across the sea. To
explore parts of the world, just like them.

A fisherman struggles to sail his boat.

Malahayati walks across the Fishermen to hand out a helping

hand.

FISHERMAN
(In Acehnese)
You’re so kind young lady!
Teurimong geunaseh

MALAHAYATI
You’re welcome paman! It looks fun sailing across the deep blue
sea!

FISHERMAN
One day you can do this too!

Balangingi spots Malahayati pushing the boat to the sea from the
shore. He walks up to Malahayati to check up on her.

BALANGINGI
Malahayati! That was nice of you to help that Fisherman.
 MALAHAYATI
Oh! I didn’t see you there Abuwa Balangingi… Have you been there
the whole time?

BALANGINGI
Yeah, of course I’ve been here this whole time! I’m a sailor!
MALAHAYATI
Pfft, yeah right! You haven’t told me the stories
you promised to tell.
BALANGINGI
Stories… What stories?

MALAHAYATI
You know the stories you promised! On how the sailors venture
the seas, exploring the world with tons of adventures!

BALANGINGI
So one day-

Malahayati let’s go!

Malahayati’s friends drag her away while Balangingi is left

alone.

Pirates are ambushing Admiral Mahmud Syah’s ship.

ADMIRAL MAHMUD SYAH

The Pirates are getting towards us!
Don’t let them board the ship!

The pirates have invaded their ship, they’re fighting for their
lives. Malahayati is overwhelmed by multiple pirates at once.

MALAHAYATI
There’s too many of them, someone help!

Admiral Mahmud Syah’s crew helps out Malahayati as she swerves

away from the fight.

Malahayati glances towards the pirates as they kidnap her

father.

MALAHAYATI
Balangingi! Ayah, they’re taking Ayah!

Malahayati sprints towards Admiral Mahmud Syah to save him.

Balangingi stops her from doing so.

BALANGINGI
WAIT! Malahayati, you need to stay.

MALAHAYATI
 THEY’RE TAKING AYAH!

BALANGINGI
You can’t help him--

MALAHAYATI
BUT HE’S MY FATHER--

BALANGINGI
You are our hope. Protect the Sultanate of Aceh... continue the
fight against these... pirates.

Admiral Mahmud Syah struggles from the grasp of the pirates as

he screams out in manly suffering.

Description:
Telling about Malahayati's life on the coast and foreign trade activities, It's
a busy morning on the coast. The people are welcoming fishermen who
have just returned from the sea. The harbor is bustling with trading ships
from various countries (China, Gujarat, Persia) docking at the pier.

Malahayati, still young, a curious little girl, walks among the crowd, trying
to take in the wonders of the world in front of her. Admiral Mahmud Syah,
Malahayati's father, can be seen from a distance, leading an important
meeting with traders and other important sailors.

All of the sudden, ruthless and relentless gang of pirates appears. The
once tranquil underwater world turns tense and chaotic.

Conflict:
Conflict arises when the gang of pirates arrives, disrupting the tranquility
of the sea. They pose a threat to anyone passing through the Malacca
