The Rush Sets In

So life seems to be back to normal after the holidays! People are back from the beach, kids are back in school; life is in full gear! Thank you to all of you who support me in this adventure! Thank you for being a partner with me in God's Mexico. mission here in

Prison Ministry
I have recently started visiting a prison here at a place called Lagos de Moreno to share the gospel with the inmates. I accompany a member from church who has been doing this for several years. The first time that I went, it was sports day, so we all played soccer! We also had some time in between the games, and I shared my testimony with them and also a passage from Romans of how God loved us while we were sinners. I go there every Monday and I hope to start visiting another prison on Thursdays, Lord willing. Please pray for the people there as they are in desperate need of spiritual guidance.

Mexico celebrated 201 years of Independence in September!!

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. - I John 4:4

VBS in Mexico City

There was a leadership conference last week in Mexico City in which Omar, my co-ordinator, was the guest speaker. Representatives from about five congregations in the city were present at the conference. My team and I also went to help take care of the kids that would come for the day. We taught them about Jesus, his life and his ministry through classroom activities, videos and games.

New Small Group

I have started studying the Bible with a family here who I've grown close to over the last few weeks. They are a pretty big family and almost all of them now live in Len. They are a Christian family but seem to have very little fellowship and study outside of Sunday service. I mostly spend my time with their kids who are around the same age as me. Sergio and Hector are the ones I most spend time with. Their grandad was the one that invited me to go to the prisons to share the gospel. It's cool how it all ties in!! Please be praying for this family that they may continue to be a witness of God's grace and power to their community.
