• After watching it write three examples of the verb to be using contractions, one example
for he, one for she and one for it.

Each example has to have the following 5 parts (affirmative sentence, negative sentence, question,
short affirmative answer, short negative answer) as in this example below.

Remember to use puntuaction marks and capital letter at the beginning of the sentence.

Affirmative: He’s a boy.

Negative: Isn’t a boy.

Question: Is it a boy ?.

Short affirmative answer: Yes, he is.

Short negative answer: No, he isn´t.

She

Affirmative: She's pretty.

Negative: She ins’t ugly.

Question: Is she pretty. ?

Short affirmative answer: Yes, he is.

Short negative answer: No, he isn´t.


It

Affirmative: It’s a sheep.

Negative: It isn’t a sheep

Question: Is it the black sheep. ?

Short affirmative answer: Yes, he is.

Short negative answer: No, he isn´t.
