PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

CONTENTS Last month, I attended the Leadership Acad-
emy’s first meeting and welcome reception
for the 2022-2023 Fellows of the Academy,

As I thought back to my Law Day remarks, and I looked around

room, represented diversity in all of the areas I mentioned in my
Education remarks, and I felt assured of our Association’s progress. I felt
inspired when our President-Elect, Jennifer Fairfax, remarked

of the LGBTQ community to serve as President of this Associa-

why they decided to apply to become a Fellow of the Leadership

sociation as a diverse organization, and that they felt compelled

that area. I am convinced that if we continue our efforts to make
