Anawim Lay Missions - giving a home and a warm embrace

to poor and abandoned elderly.

 Anawim is a small facility for poor and abandoned elderly people founded by Catholic lay preacher
Bo Sanchez in Rizal Province, Philippines. Anawim Lay Missions opened its doors in 1996 to rejected
and abandoned elderly who are roaming the streets. Its purpose is to provide a home, a sanctuary, to
those poor and abandoned elderly who have nowhere else to go.

JICA and Japanese firm tie up with Pasig City to elevate PH elderly care services
 "INFIC is working to support the independence of the world's elderly with the power of nursing care and the
power of technology. The project to introduce a Japanese-style nursing care system in the Philippines is a
part of this mission.

 The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is the executing agency of Japanese Official
Development Assistance (ODA), which handles technical cooperation, ODA loans and investment, and grant
aid, as well as cooperation volunteers and disaster relief programs. JICA is the world's largest bilateral aid
agency with its scale of operations amounting to about JPY 1,536.1 billion for JFY 2021 and a worldwide
network of almost 100 overseas offices including the Philippines.

Community Organizing
COSE is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in the Philippines working with older persons since 1989.
We focus on the formation and strengthening of Older Persons’ Organizations (OPOs); advocacy; and
partnership building.
We promote community-based programs of older persons such as health care, residential care facility, age-
friendly and diversified livelihood, and inclusive disaster risk reduction and management. Also in
partnership with with other humanitarian actors, we strive to address issues and concerns of older persons
in humanitarian crises situations or emergencies.

Sinag Kalinga Foundation is a non-profit entity whose mission is to provide senior

citizens with proper lodging, healthcare, and support.

We exist to help seniors who are homeless and those who have no one to take care of
them.
