Narrative Report on Tree Planting Project 2012

(July 3, 2012)
The presences of trees in the surroundings greatly affect the social and physical aspects of life of all living things.
It greatly provides many benefits and advantages that may be utilized by the community to develop the lives of its people.
The natural and man-made activities like floods and landslides may be lessened if there are so many trees that will grasp
our soil to make it more intact. Because of several kinds of trees, we may get some alternative medicine and lumber for
our everyday use. The trees also help us to purify our air in the atmosphere by letting the trees to capture the polluted air
and harmful gases and convert it into cleaner and fresher air. The trees also help us to protect ourselves against harmful
rays and effects of sunlight and also lessen the effects of global warming.

These are some of the good benefits that we can get from these green plants. But we must not always rely on their
uses but also we must do something to help the trees to be more abundant so that we will able to save and conserve our
ecological balance in the environment.

In relation to this, our school, through the leadership of our school principal Norma B. Rico, our EPP Coordinator
Luningning E. Ruiz, our SPG Adviser Michelle Dee E. Manalo, and our YES-O Coordinator Dennis M. Flores, together
with the support of our pupils, parents, and teachers acted in participating to the annual “Tree Planting Project” , by
providing the time and effort of teachers, pupils, and parents, the school planted different kinds of fruit-bearing and
medicinal plants and trees like malunggay, mangoes, and others.

As a commitment to this cause, our school and its constituents made their pledge to continue and to maintain the
abundance of trees and plants in our school by doing more planting projects and activities.
