Introduction
Lakas Highschool is an IP school and goal is to aspire to provide quality IP secondary
education, upholding their cultural heritage with pride and dignity equipped with knowledge
and skills in 21st century.
Lakas Highschool aims to provide free education, motivating, safe environment, life
long learning experiences and to produce graduates to become responsible and good citizens
of society.
Short-term strategies of school heads in managing community relations

 LGU Stakeholders discussion,
 Effective communication,
 Information and Capability building.

Long term strategies of school heads in managing community relations

 Resources and budget of Implemented Projects,
 School Site in Planning and Implementation,
 Data and Evaluation of implemented Projects,
 Monitoring and Technical Assistance,
 Develop intervention projects who are academically challenged
READING IS LIFE project that focuses in reading comprehension both
in English and Filipino, Project MATHEMDAS (Math exponent,
Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction) that improves
learners basic four fundamental operations.

Challenges and Opportunities for improvement in building community partnerships

Community partnership is very significant to LAKAS Highschool especially the

learners needs both academically, physically and emotionally for it is believed that learners
must have a conducive learning. The community and education personnel must collaborate
for better outcome for learners.
