Notice 11.11.

Dear Students,

As we commence the academic year on 15th November 2023, please make note of the following
instructions:

Attendance

 It is mandatory for students to fulfill the minimum KSLU attendance requirement of aggregate
70%.
 Students who do not fulfill the minimum attendance will not be permitted to write the I.A.
examinations Only those students who pass the IA EXAMS will be permitted to submit
assignment and presentation.

Discipline and decorum

 Mobile phones/laptops/tabs/ earphones will not be permitted for usage inside the class except
unless permitted by the faculty engaging the session. Cases of any non-compliance will lead to
confiscation of phones by the respective faculty member.
 Inappropriate behavior such as hooting, disrespectful behavior (towards faculty/staff or peers),
physical or verbal altercations with fellow students inside the college campus will invite
disciplinary action.
 It is the duty of the students of the class to ensure that the lights and fans are switched off after
the last session in the classroom. Student shall ensure to handle college property with care.

Uniform

College Uniforms must be worn on Mondays and Fridays. (Intimation regarding the date for
distribution of uniforms and implementation of rules for wearing college uniform will be shared with
you soon.)

 Students who do not comply with uniform requirements i.e., white shirt, black pants and blazer
(provided by the college) along with black formal shoes (chappal/sandal/ballerina/sports shoes
are not permitted) will not be permitted to enter the college campus. Only students who have
permission from the college Management will be permitted to wear white kurta and black pant
on uniform days.
 Students will be required to adhere to the dress code provided below on Tuesdays, Wednesday,
Thursdays, and Saturdays.
 Girls: formal western and Indian wear (t-shirts, sleeveless shirts, skirts,3/4th pants, faded /ripped
jeans are not permitted).
Boys: formal western and Indian wear (t-shirts, faded/ripped jeans will not be permitted)

 Students will not be allowed to sport unconventional hairstyles, hair coloring, body piercing
inside the college campus.
 Membership to committees is not mandatory. However only those who hold the committee
registration may be nominated as committee coordinators.
 Students who enter the class after 8.00 am and after the commencement of the subsequent hours
will not be given attendance.
 It is mandatory for all students to wear ID cards inside the college campus.

Academics

 I.A. exams are scheduled to be held from 16.1.24 to 18.1.24


 Students are required to identify 3 topics of their choice and upload the same in the student
connect portal from 15.11.23. The last date for approval of the topics is 1.12.23. Student who
fails to upload the topic will not be permitted to do the same post the deadline which is 1.12.23.
 An initial synopsis report must be submitted in the student connect portal by 10.12.23. The
presentation of the initial synopsis before the concerned subject faculty must be obtained
between 11.12.23 to 15.12.23. A minimum of 5 reference materials (books, articles, journals,
newsletters) at least must be cited in the initial synopsis.
 Written assignments (in blue book – A4 size plain) must be submitted to the respective subject at
the time of the final presentation which is scheduled from 4.3.24 to 8.3.24.

* In depth briefing and clarifications will be provided regarding the synopsis, assignments by
the research committee during the regular class hours.
