Notice

A notice is a formal means of communication. The purpose of a notice is

to announce or display information to a specific group of people.
1. It is written in order to inform a large number of people about
something that has happened or is about to happen.
2. It could be an upcoming event, competition or just a piece of
information to be delivered to the targeted audience.
3. It is generally written in a formal tone.
5. Notices are factual and to-the-point.
6. The language used is simple and formal, not flower

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Ø
Use future tense of the verb Ø Write a notice in third person (avoid I,
We, Our etc.) Ø
In the case of competition: Include title, date, venue, eligibility, last
date of submission of names Ø
In the case of field trips/picnic: Include destination, duration, cost per
head, food and accommodation/boarding and lodging facilities –
 In the case of meetings: Include agenda, date, time, venue, chief guest
etc. (The agenda notice includes the detailed list of items or scheme of
the meeting or the programme)
Ø Notice has to be not more than 50 words.
Ø Always write a notice inside a box

EXCURSION TO GOA

This is to inform the students of class XI and XII that the Students Council
is going to organize an excursion to Goa during the summer Break. It will
be a five day long trip from July 10 th 2023 to July15 2023. Students
interested to join the trip must give their name and a permission letter
signed by parents , latest by May 20, 2023 to their respective class
