Warm Greetings!

We, the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology of the College of Allied Medical Professions, are proposing
to hold our “RT Days 2023” a two (2) day event entitled “Behind the Images: Radiating the Light of Excellence”
on November 16-17, 2023 (Thursday-Friday) from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Face-to-Face).

The said event is to commemorate the International Day of Radiology (IDoR) and National Radiologic
Technology Week (Proclamation No. 194, s. 1999 – Declaring the second week of November of every year as
“National Radiologic Technology Week”), these two (2) days event is proposed to be held face-to-face. The LCUP
BSRT program deeply understands the importance of this annual event in fostering a deeper understanding of the
Radiologic Technology field, promoting excellence, and facilitating a sense of community among students and
professionals alike. The chosen theme, "Radiating the Light of Excellence" beautifully encapsulates the principles
and values at our profession's heart, emphasizing precision, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Additionally, here is a comprehensive overview of our intent:

1. Comprehensive Event Planning: We are dedicated to meticulously planning and executing the RT Days
to offer a diverse range of activities, including workshops, seminars, and panel discussions. Our goal is to
provide students with valuable insights, practical skills, and growth opportunities.
2. Engaging Content: We are committed to curating engaging content that enhances students' knowledge and
empowers them to become leaders in the Radiologic Technology field. Our team is working diligently to
secure esteemed speakers and industry experts.
3. Collaboration and Networking: RT Days serves as a platform for fostering collaboration and networking
among students, faculty, and professionals. We aim to facilitate meaningful connections that will continue
to benefit our students throughout their academic and professional journeys.
4. Celebrating Excellence: Our primary goal for RT Days is to celebrate and promote excellence within the
Radiologic Technology program. We will recognize outstanding achievements, both by students and faculty,
and showcase the innovative and compassionate work being done in our field.

A face-to-face event is proposed to allow the BSRT program the chance to gather in person as one program and to
celebrate the discovery of the root of their profession. Furthermore, all BSRT Students are in their complete uniform.
As we seek your approval, we would also like to take this opportunity to allow us to use the College of Medicine-
AVR for our two (2) days of events, including the use of the electricals such as the sound system, lights, ventilation,
and other logistics available in the said venue.
