HOW DOES MEDIA AFFECTS YOU?

Media is the medium that we all use as the basic source of communication all
over the world. Media makes everything easier and way faster now, because of its
useful uses and fast technologies to back it up. At some point, it affects us in one
way or another, depending on how we perceive things and make assumptions or
opinions about certain information we acquire from different spectrums of life. These
effects may either have positively or negatively affected us in one way or another;
this shows that the variety of media affects not just an individual but the whole wide
world we’re in. We have various forms of media in our present times, these include
the print media, mass media or broadcast media and lastly the internet media, and
this is how it affects us.
Print media is widely used all over the world, and through this form, journalists
convey messages and disseminate information to a variety of audiences all over the
world. This includes the news and happenings from one place to another. By means
of how it affects us is the way we understand each piece of information we read. By
reading these printed pieces, we may acquire knowledge, and it may shape our
perspective about the issues of our society in ways that we may feel the way to
judge and form opinions on things based on what we read. Also, print media affects
how we view the world around us by making us travel and know things happening in
one country through another by means of the articles published and the stories it
conveys to the audiences. This is a new way of learning that has really positive
effects on every individual in society. Next is mass media, or what is sometimes
referred to as broadcast media, whose purpose is to disseminate information to a
wide range of audiences. Mass media provide us with communication and
communicate various messages through the use of televisions, radio, films, and
others. The information passed is very helpful and important in terms of
entertainment, education, and influence. Mass media has a very powerful impact on
our society; its power and influence help shape people’s public opinion, perception,
and attitudes towards one another. By educating the public, they raise certain issues
that are addressed in ways to help each and every one of us. By means of the
provided information, we became one with other countries because we knew what
was happening from one place to another, as if we were creating a global village.
What once was a big community can now be small, like we are close to each other
even if we are cross-border countries. Lastly, internet media We all know that the
internet is the main source of communication in our generation nowadays. Through
the internet and other technologies, we can now communicate in the fastest way
possible. The way the internet has affected us is how we collaborate with each other,
making it way easier to connect with one another, easing access to information, and
helping us improve our lifestyle by always being updated on the latest trends and the
betterment of each individual all over the world.
The media may have affected us, but that doesn’t mean harm. It eases
communication and the bond among cross-border countries around the globe.
Making us more connected in many ways, helping us gather information, form
perceptions and opinions on what is happening, but most importantly, seeing that
even though we are miles apart from one country to another, we can be formed as
one, not only in our own country but in many more around the globe.
