3)Use a clean vase.
4)Keep loose leaves out of water
5)Use an appropriate amount of water and plant food.
6)Give them a clean cut.
7)Change the water.
8)Keep them safe from temperature extremes.
9)Wait to remove guard petals.
Orchid

1) Never ever overwater your cut orchids.


2) Under-watering your orchids will also kill them.
3) Don't place your cut orchids in direct light.
4) Keep your vase of orchids away from low-
humidity areas.
Hibiscus
Hibiscus

Always plunge cut flowers into water immediately


after cutting. The lower half inch (1 cm.) of plants
with milky sap should be slightly charred over a
flame or dipped into boiling water to seal the ends.
Woody stems should be crushed with a mallet and
plunged into water (room temperature).
Chrysanthemum

1. Trim the stems at an angle.


2. Ensure there are no leaves below the water line.
3. Change the vase water regularly.
4. Place away from draughts and direct heat.
Anthurium
Anthurium

Put them in clean water in a vase. Change


the water from the vase every week. Also, cut
1 cm from the stalk. This will allow the
anthuriums to bloom for at least 2-3 weeks.
