Terms and Conditions:
The purchaser/owner will always make sure that this above identified puppy/dog will receive adequate
and proper veterinarian care throughout its lifetime and all vaccinations and deworming will be
maintained to ensure preventative health care. That this puppy/dog will be provided with a fully
secured fenced yard and/or a fully secure kennel run to always house the puppy/dog safely. That this
puppy/dog will not be allowed to run at large unsupervised at any time. That this puppy/dog will not
be allowed to ride in the back of an open pick-up truck and that this puppy/dog will never at any time
be tied up as a form of confinement or housing.

That is puppy/dog will be allowed to sleep in the house and will never become a dog that is housed
outside all day and night. This puppy/dog have house and outside time during the day and be allowed
to sleep in the house at night. That this puppy/dog will be given adequate and proper shelter from all
types of weather and that this puppy/dog will always have proper and sufficient food and water. This
puppy/dog will not be neglected in any manner and will never be mistreated. Under the terms of this
agreement, the seller/breeder has the right to investigate the care of this puppy/dog throughout his or
her lifetime. If the seller/breeder feels that this puppy/dog is being abused, misrepresented or is not
being given the proper care, including all the care required in this agreement, Pacificgold Golden
Retrievers/breeder has the right and full authorization of the purchaser to remove the puppy/dog form
the purchaser. At that time, the purchaser will provide to the seller/breeder the signed CKC/AKC
registration papers for the transfer of ownership of the puppy/dog to the breeder at not cost to the
breeder.

Anytime after the sale of the puppy/dog the purchaser guarantees Pacificgold Golden Retrievers first
refusal to take this puppy/dog back for re-homing should the purchaser not be able to keep or care for
the puppy/dog personally for any reason. The purchaser will at this time give the puppy’s/dog’s signed
registration papers to the breeder transfer the puppy/dog into the name of the breeder/seller. The
seller/breeder will then find a new suitable home for the puppy/dog and will endeavour to get as near to
the original purchase price as possible. The seller/breeder will deduct from the new purchase price any
amounts owning for extended boarding, food and veterinarian care while the puppy/dog is the
sell/breeder looking for a new home, the balance of the new purchase price will then be given to the
original purchaser identified above. This puppy/dog will not be euthanized unless first notifying the
breeder (unless the euthanizing is in the best interest of the puppy/dog deemed so by a qualified
veterinarian, purchaser will give the veterinarian that preforms the euthanization permission to release
any info to the breeder with regards to the euthanization.

That the purchaser agrees to notify Pacificgold Golden Retrievers of any change of addresses and of
phone numbers. That the purchaser agrees to notify Pacificgold Golden Retrievers of any CKC or
AKC titles obtained and completed by this

puppy/dog throughout his or her lifetime. That this puppy/dog shall not be used for the purposes of
vivisection and will not be sold by or to a wholesale establishment, any chain store, catalogue sales,
broker, pet store or “puppy mill”.

Seller disclaims any damages to persons or property occurred by this puppy/dog throughout its lifetime
once this puppy has left seller’s possession, whether solely owned or co-owned with the purchaser.
We hope your new puppy works out well in your new home. Pacificgold Golden Retrievers is always
available for any advice or information on your new puppy/dog which may be required and would
appreciate any information as to your puppy/dog's health and welfare. Please feel free to call or write
any time whether it is information needed or to let up know of your puppy/dog’s accomplishments.
Remember we can not help you if you do not ask us. As a responsible breeder not only do we want to
hear about all the accomplishments that your puppy/dog achieves through out its lifetime but also
anything that we need to know for the betterment of our breeding program with regards to health.

This puppy/dog has been sold as a pet puppy/dog; therefore, it is agreed that:

1. That if this is a male puppy/dog he will not be neutered prior to 18 months and no later than 24
months.
2. If this is a female puppy/dog she will not be spayed until at least 10 months or preferably not
until after her first season. Once she has finished her first season, she is to be spayed within
three months of that date. She must be spayed after the first season.
3. The purchaser will furnish to Pacificgold Golden Retrievers/breeder a certificate of spay or
neuter form the veterinarian within a month of the surgery being performed. If the purchaser is
unable to get this puppy/dog spayed or neutered by the required age as indicated above the
breeder than has the purchasers permission to take this puppy/dog to a veterinarian of the
breeders choice to be spayed or neutered and the purchaser will be responsible for the full
expenses of the surgical procedure and any additional expenses occurring at the time of the spay
or neutered and will reimburse the full amount to the breeder on returning the puppy/dog to the
purchaser.
4. That this puppy/dog is sold on a CKC non-breeding contract and will not be used for breeding.
No puppies produced from this puppy/dog will be eligible for CKC and or AKC registration. If
this puppy/dog is used for breeding and produces any puppies including through an accidental
breeding, a $10,000.00 in damages will be paid to Pacificgold Golden Retrievers/breeder by the
purchaser immediately upon confirmation of the breeding, pregnancy or whelping of the litter.
The above puppy/dog will be returned to the breeder at no cost to the breeder which includes
purchase cost and any shipping fees. All offspring produced from any breeding of the above-
named puppy/dog will also be returned to Pacificgold Golden Retrievers at no cost along with
the signed CKC and AKC registration papers, where Pacificgold Golden Retrievers will

have full responsibility of the placement of the puppy/dog and its entire offspring.

Every reasonable precaution has been taken to prevent this puppy/dog from acquiring hereditary hip
and elbow dysplasia, cataracts and Sub Aortic Stenosis. Due to the unknown hereditary and
environmental causes of such defects, no guarantee or warranty will be given against the above on this
identified puppy/dog. However should this puppy/dog develop any of these listed problems deemed to
be hereditary listed above and cannot function as a family pet by the age of 24 months of age,
Pacificgold Golden Retrievers will refund up to $700.00 but not to exceed $700.00 within twelve
months of notification and written verification by OFA (for hips and elbows) board certified
ophthalmologist (for eyes) or a board certified cardiologist (for hearts) provided written verification is
received by the seller that the dog has been spayed or neutered.

No refund will be given if:

 1. The puppy/dog above identified has not been examined by a veterinarian by 24 months with
regards to hip, elbow, heart and eye defects-deemed to be hereditary.
2. The puppy/dog has previously been bred and it is on a non-breeding contract.
3. The puppy/dog has been neutered or spayed prior to the age specified above (before 18 months
or after 24 months for a male and for females prior to 10 months or females first season.
4. This puppy/dog has been over vaccinated – this to mean that the above identified puppy/dog has
been given yearly vaccinations with regards to Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus,
Leptospirosis, Coronavirus, Heartworm, Lyme and Rabies, instead of every three years or in
some cases not required at all depending on the area the dog lives in or will travel too. (We
understand things can change in the future where an out break of a virus may require more
frequent vaccinations but at this time every three years for most of these is all that should be
preformed on this puppy/dog).
5. This puppy/dog has become overweight at any time with regards to the hip and elbow health
issues.

If this puppy/dog dies suddenly for no known cause or questionable cause under the age of 3 years an
autopsy/necropsy must be performed by a mutually agreed upon veterinarian for any refund or
replacement of any kind to take place. Results of the autopsy/necropsy will be released to the breeder.

This refund applies only to the original purchaser.

Buyer is responsible for all costs involved in shipping of the puppy/dog, including shipping costs
involved if the puppy/dog is returned for ANY reason to the breeder. This includes but not limited to
air shipping charges and crate. Proper notice must be given to the breeder before returning any
puppy/dog for any resin to

ensure that the breeder will be available to pick up the puppy/dog.

Pacificgold Golden Retrievers and Carol Morrison give no guarantees or warranties,

expressed or implied to the seller except those stated herein.

This puppy has recently had a veterinarian checkup and first set of vaccinations, we highly
recommended that you do not allow the puppy off your property and in contact with other dogs (unless
they live in the same home) until the second set of vaccinations has been done, this will be
approximately 4 weeks after the first vaccinations done by the breeders veterinarian. Remember
though your other dog(s) may have all their vaccinations they can still bring things home to your puppy
that does not have full protection at this time.

This puppy/dog will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and is sold on a CKC non-breeding
contract (for companion/pet puppy’s) which the buyer agrees to sign, once the puppy is spayed or
neutered and the breeder receives copies of the certificate of the surgery being preformed on the above
puppy/dog. Once all the terms and conditions are met in this contract breeder will transfer the
registration papers into the purchasers/owner’s names.

(see CKC bylaws number 30.1 (b) ) If the parties to such sale or disposition have agreed in writing that
the dogs shall be transferred into the name of the new owner and the new owner shall be provided with
the certificate of registration only when certain specified obligations have been fulfilled by the new
owner, then the seller shall not be obliged to transfer the dog or deliver the certificate to the new owner
until the buyer has fulfilled all such obligations.)

If any part of this agreement is breached by the purchaser there will be a $10,000.00 damage fee to be
paid to the breeder/seller. This agreement is legal and binding.

conditions set forth therein.
