challenges of our time.
The programme is designed to develop skills and expertise at the intersection of finance,
sustainability, and economic development. It combines a foundation in core areas of finance and
leadership with a range of electives from our e-Campus certification courses. The Master's thesis
serves as the culmination of the programme, providing an opportunity to contribute valuable
insights to real-world business problems. Participants can choose between the Green Finance
Track, which focuses on the low-carbon transition in finance, or the Development Finance Track,
which engages with growth agendas and inclusive finance.
Throughout your studies, you will engage with our faculty and thesis supervisors who will offer
guidance and support. The programme incorporates group work, an optional on-campus module,
and online sustainability sessions that foster networking opportunities and aid in shaping your
career path.
Highlights
Upon completion of the programme, you will be awarded the degree of Master of Arts (MA) in
Leadership in Sustainable Finance. You can choose to specialise in either
Development Finance or
Green Finance
Learning Approach
The programme is flexible but structured. The self-study concept allows you to integrate your
studies into your professional and personal schedule, allowing for a comfortable distribution of the
workload during the week or at the weekends. Keep in mind a few key deadlines, including live
sessions, submission deadlines, and final exam dates.
Workload
The average workload varies depending on factors such as your prior experience in different
courses and subjects as well as your learning style. As a very rough estimate, you should expect to
dedicate approximately 15-20 hours of study time per week over the 24-month duration of the
programme.
