The Ladybug Who Explored!

“The forest is beautiful! What a great day to go out and explore!”, said the ladybug.
The ladybug got up and off of his leaf home and started to explore.
The ladybug lives in a forest and there are lots of tall redwood trees, which this ladybug especially loves.
The ladybug looks around trying to decide which tree to climb up.
“I choose this one!”, He exclaimed.
He ran all the way up to the top of the tree.
It is early in the morning and the ladybug is hungry, he is looking for a snack. The ladybug chooses the
largest leaf he could find and started munching. He finished a little bit of the leaf when he realised a storm
was coming! He was still very hungry so he ate a little bit more of the leaf as fast as he could!
The water started to drip onto the leaf, making the leaf very slippery, it was so hard for the ladybug to
keep a grip!
He was slipping right to the edge of the leaf!

The rain started to stop and the ladybug ran right back down the tree out of frightness. He got in his leaf
home and whispered,”That was close,¨ and passed out.
The ladybug was very content and relaxed about how much he explored today.
He is ready to explore once again!
