This document provides instructions for building a rain barrel using a plastic trash can, various fittings like a spigot and pipe union, sealant, and screening. The instructions include drilling holes for the spigot and overflow, attaching the spigot and screening the entry hole, and suggest uses for collected rainwater like gardening and car washing.
