One of the things that actually struck me or stood out is the difference in meaning of the analysis

extracted from a descriptive statistic of the ate and probability of statistics of the data and probability of
data (Yakir, 2011).

The most important things that I have learn from the prerequisite course include:

a. The concept of population, sample parameter and statistic. I quite understood that the
population iss the whole, while the sample is the part. Which is to say, the sample is actually the
subset of the population. The unit measurement property of sample is statistics (Yakir, 2011)
b. The Law of Large Number (LLN) and Central Limit Theorem (CLT). Here, the large number
theorem state that if the same experiment or study is repeated independently many times
(sample size N), the average (mean) of the results of the trials which must be closed to the
expected value. Also the central limit theorem state that if you have a population with mean
and the standard deviation and take suffiecely large random samples from the population with
replacement, then the distribution of he sample means will be approximately normally
distributed (Lamorte, 2016).
c. The R statistic programming environment: although this was not my first time of making us of R
program but that does not stop me from running the program again so as to be very perfect in
the program. I also learned some comment to help me use R sufficiently. I have used R
programming to make calculation on random sample, normal distribution, binomial, pission etc.
d. Producing and plotting frequency tables. Here, I have learned the concept of histogram, whisker
(box) plot, etc. I have gained the enough knowledge to read and interpret information on these
plots. I am very familiar with the concept of frequency. Cumulative percentile takes. (Yakir,
2011).
e. The (Sample) Variance and Standard deviation. I will say the basic knowledge necessary for one
to build his/her knowledge. I have also learned about mean, mode, middle, standard deviation
and the formula as well (yakir, 2011)
f. The concept of quartiles and the interquartile range, quantiles, skewness. A quantile can be
defined as a sample which quartile has to do with the range divided into four equals parts. Q1
low quartile, Q2 is the median and Q3 upper quartile. The interquartile range ( IQR) is defined as
the measure of variability, based on dividing a data set into quartiles (Yakir, 2011).
