JUAKINMAR MINI SWIMMING RESORT

(BANAO, POBLACION, BOKOD, BENGUET)

JUAKINMAR, also known as KINTANA is a mini swimming resort

located along Poblacion - Karao barangay road. It is 500 meters
away from Bokod municipal hall. It has two swimming pools, a
circular shape children's pool (2 1/2 ft depth) and a safeguard
bath soap-like adults' pool (4-5 ft depth).
Its water source is a collection of small spring waters being
hosed to the pools. It takes 2-3 days to fill up the adults' pool
and 1 day for the children's pool. The draining is scheduled
once a week during night time and the water is drained
towards the river. So it is closed for 3 days (general cleaning
and water filling) and operates for 4 days. This resort has an
area of more or less 1,700 square meters with 8 make-shift
cottages, 5 bathrooms and 4 restrooms.
This is with a simple bungalow house with a private bathroom
and restroom. Kintana resort is owned and managed by
GERARDO CHANAO BASILIO.
