• The captive electricity production results in less demand for electricity from the public grid,
which contributes to greater grid stability and smaller transportation losses. This is in addition to
less need for electricity production from (mainly fossil-fired) facilities.
• The amount of indirect CO2 emissions is decreased as a result of the captive power production.
• The reduction in steam in the waste gas from saving water for cooling purposes allows for
either a reduction in the power consumption of the respective ID fans or an increase in clinker
production by substituting stack gas from the kiln for the steam in the waste gas (in other words,
we have smaller equipment sizes of all flue gas handling equipments such as fans, ducts, burners,
etc.).
• The potential of dust agglutination in filters is decreased by the lower amount of steam in the
waste gas, especially if textile filters are being used.
• Last but not least, maintaining the most valuable resource, (possible) drinking water, through
water conservation helps cement production remain sustainable.
• Waste heat power technology of cement plants can improve energy
utilization, reduce environment of green and environment protection of
enterprises realize the dual development of economic and social benefits
help to promote the production capacity and transformation of entry
