EEP 2 (English for Speech Communication)

Consonant Sound Oral Drill
First Semester, Academic Year 2020-2021

Instructions:
1. Create a group with ten members.
2. Recite and record the CSU’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values with your
groupmates. The style and manner of reciting and recording will be under your
preference. You are allowed to utilize any recording and editing applications for
this activity. The presentation must not exceed five (5) minutes.
3. Underline the at least 15 different phonemes with identified consonant sounds in
the CSU’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. Write their respective IPA symbols
below every underlined phoneme.
4. You will be graded according to the criteria below:
Presentation:

Clarity 20 points

Organization and 10 points

Creativity
Correctness on the 20 points
IPA Usage

5. Submit the copy of your answered activity and presentation in the LMS or the
class’ Facebook Group in this format:
