Approach & Way Forward in PWMgt. For SBM-G
• During the last one year in discussions with the Team at Jal Shakti Ministry and State SBM-G teams three
important aspects have emerged in addressing the Issues, Concerns and Challenges in Plastic Waste
Management and Operations.

- Trainings, Capacity Building & Exposure – SBM-G Teams managing PWM. – developing, modules and
capacity building of the district coordinators, IEC teams at the SBM – Grameen 2.0.

- Standard Operating Procedures for PWM – Defining the systemic ways to implement and address the issues,
concerns in different areas in a more sustainable business approach with & for different stakeholders in the
ecosystem, including SBM-G teams.

- Monitoring of Actions and Digitization of Data – Creating an ecosystem of traceability, transparency and
accountability of actions at all levels and for different actions at the SBM-G. Ensuring measurability of what is
working and for what impacts it is creating. Addressing sustainability of actions.
