I render my deepest gratitude and appreciation to those who were behind the success of my
Teaching Internship. Your kindness and efforts are not wasted. I am thankful to our Almighty God,
Who is my greatest strength and inspiration. I am thankful for His infinite love, blessings, and
guidance. For the opportunities He has given me and for the chance to discover what life has to
offer. I give Him all the credit.
To my critic teacher, Mrs. Loida C. Conda, for her kindness and warm treatment. Your
generosity will remain in my heart, and I will forever be thankful that I came to meet you and have
you become my cooperating teacher. Thank you for your guidance and remarkable suggestions
that truly shaped my skills and personality.
To my students at Daraga National High School during my internship, the grade 8 - Avocado
and SPA Reyes,
To the outgoing principal, Lourdes R. Bigcas, Ph. D , Principal III, Daraga National High
School Principal, who accommodated the student teachers of Bicol University College of
Education and to the new principal, Alicia R. Lim, Ed.D., the now-School Principal IV, who is
known for her being straightforward and humility, for her unwavering support and gratitude as she
greets us a warm welcome once again before she leaves us a message to be model teachers of
emulation, and to all the teaching and non-teaching personnel, for their assistance and warm
welcome and treatment.
To my fellow young teachers of BSED Social Studies assigned at DNHS, thank you for the
precious moments, hardships shared, and some ideas that you've shared with me.
To our adviser, Mrs. Maribel Naz, whom i consider as our second mother, for her constant

Lessons can provide data but lessons with plans can create information.
In this domain, it encompasses the ability to translate curriculum content into
learning activities that are relevant to learners and based on the principles of
effective teaching and learning. In my internship, I am tasked to create a lesson plan
as a guide in my demo teaching. I encountered different revisions that honed my
skills. My critical teacher always reminds me of the importance of every part of the
lesson plan. They play a significant role that supports each other parts. She always
reminds me to create activities aligned with the objectives. Objectives that are
attainable and flexible inside the classroom. Always align the goal towards
collaboration. Collaboration is essential in building students’ character and skills, so
it's necessary to create a lesson plan which can apply collaboration. The use of
technology is also a useful tool in promoting collaboration inside the classroom.
Assessment is not always about tests and exams it's about the growth and
development of students.
In domain 5 it relates to processes associated with a variety of assessment
tools and strategies used by teachers in monitoring, evaluating, documenting, and
reporting learners’ needs, progress, and achievement.
In creating an assessment various factors need to be considered. Some steps
need to be followed and strategies need to be used. The assessment will become
the summary of the growth of the students. To create an effective assessment first,
we must consider these factors the lesson coverage, the difficulty of the questions,
and the time frame allotted. These factors will help me in crafting my assessment.
After creating an assessment, it will still undergo a revision from our respected
master teacher. They will give their comments and suggestions to better improve the
assessment. The results of the assessment will serve as written feedback on our
demo teaching. The assessment will provide information that will measure the
learning of the students. It will show whether they learned and have difficulty
learning the lesson. Assessment is the receipt of all the learners learned in the
lesson.
Teachers’ duty is not always inside the classroom they also participate in the
community.
In domain 6, it identifies and responds to opportunities that link teaching and
learning in the classroom to the experiences, interests, and aspirations of the wider
school community and other key stakeholders. It is necessary to create
communication and collaboration with the community to create an effective learning
environment. The community plays a significant role as a partner of teachers in
developing and guiding the students in their career path. It's necessary to conduct a
meeting with the parents to address concerns regarding the classroom environment
and student performance. The parents can suggest and cooperate with the teacher
on how to improve the classroom environment. Identify the student’s strengths and
weaknesses, to help them in creating a solution. Building a bond with parents can
help the students develop and improve. Communication between teachers and the
community is necessary for building a student’s foundation.
I believe that the individuality of teacher and learner is an asset in the teaching and learning
process. A learner learns from his or her teacher, and a teacher learns from his or her learner.
I believe that teachers must have emotional maturity, mental balance, and strong motivation. a
strong motivation to pursue teaching, not for salary, as an occupation that will benefit the country.
I believe that students should develop self-responsibility, concern for education, and self-
appreciation towards education as if it were their own treasure that is worth more than gold. I
believe that students should develop a sense of responsibility and diligence in prioritizing their
education, for no treasure can be taken away from an educated human being. I believe students
should not be deprived of freedom in terms of learning. They must be given the opportunity to
develop their individuality.
I believe that the act of learning is a total and unending process when a person reaches optimum
effectiveness, the whole of humanity benefits from the action or behavior being displayed. After all,
what one teaches is always part of what one does; what one applies is always part of what one
learns.
I believe that of all human functions, the teacher plays the most crucial role. He can make or break
a child. I believe that there is no greater profession than being a teacher. One can make an
engineer who will make better grounds for learning. an architect who is willing to redecorate and
check the interiors of the school. The doctor who will take charge of the medication of the patients
supervised by the nurses an artist who will be more than willing to use color in the lives of his
learners. a fireman who will stop bullying and a policeman to secure the safety of the learning
ground. And so many other noble professions that best suit a human individual. A teacher creates
a masterpiece more than a perfect artist could produce.
I believe that teaching is a lifetime challenge. It takes more than self-will and self-determination to
pursue teaching, but when achieved, there is no greater gift than seeing a learner understand
what is being taught and being able to apply it. I believe that if both the teacher and the student
meet halfway, then learning will be an easy process and it will transform all other individuals.
