Dear Administrator,
As a graduating education major at Kutztown University, I have a
very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career. With experience
working in Elementary schools, as well as day care, and camps, I
offer a wide variety of experience and passion in this field.
My first classroom teaching experience was during high school
when I took my Preschool Program class. I worked to build lessons
and teach them all throughout high school. In addition, I
volunteered through a church to help with summer camps for
several years, working with children in K-6th. While in college I have
been studying to become an elementary teacher and have had
added more experience. I worked in a children’s center for a
summer in 2021. I also have my in-field experience in 1st and 2nd
grade in Urban schools.
These experiences have given me a wide variety of knowledge that
I believe will help me have greats success within your school. Much
like your school, I strive to engage students in community. In my
field experiences I worked with my students to build a classroom
community every day.
It is my goal to use my range of experience and combine it with my
ability to be an enthusiastic, compassionate teacher who can
positively contribute to the students, the district, and the larger
community. I hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
Respectfully yours,

Lydia Jones
