ENTREPRENEUR BACKGROUND The current owner of Jaya Spices Enterprise is an Indian guy from

Perak, Mr. Thilai Aravin, 27. He is a graduated from Multimedia University (MMU) and a degree
holder of Information Technology Networking. Mr. Aravin started to run the business since 2018.
Jaya Spices Enterprise is first run by Mr. Aravin mother, Muniswary D/O Thanapalan and her brother.
This spices business started to operated in 2015 and now have been taken over by the owner’s son
which is Mr. Aravin. After finishing his study in IT Networking, Mr. Aravin started his first career as on
of the employee at Microsoft company. After six months, his mother decided to pass down the
business for him. With zero knowledge about business industry, he lastly made up his mind to take
this challenge. This venture started as the first owner, Ms. Muniswary were motivated to make an
original spice without any additional ingredients, flavour and food colouring. Considering the
amount of gigantic spice’s company such as BABAS, ADABI, FAIZA and many others that have already
been in the industry, they decided to challenge themselves to get involve in this production. By
maintaining the traditional process in producing their spice, Jaya Spices Enterprise has successfully
growth till this day. Basically, Mr. Aravin didn’t started the business. He indeed continued the
venture that has been passed over by his mom. Even with zero knowledge in running a business, he
slowly improved himself to be a better entrepreneur. He, himself admit that this is very challenging
for him at the beginning, but somehow with the help and support from others, he now getting
attached to this. He started to get serious and learn everything from below about how to manage a
business. Attending seminar, business classes, learning from the professional and do a lot of study
about business is how he manage to be success. From this, we can see that Mr. Aravin have a growth
mindset where he embraces the challenge and work hard to be a success entrepreneur.
