Conversation

"Hi, [Friend's Name], how are you? I was wondering if you're interested in attending an art
exhibition with me this coming weekend. There will be an amazing collection of paintings
showcased at the local art gallery. What do you think? Would you like to come with me and
experience the beauty of the paintings?"

Friend: "Oh, that sounds great. I would love to see some beautiful paintings. Who are some
famous artists that will be displayed at the gallery?"

Tu: "There will be some amazing paintings by Frida Kahlo, Alfredo Sinclair, and some other famous
artists. I believe that this exhibition will give us a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty of
art."

Friend: "That sounds amazing. What time will the exhibition start?"

Tu: "The exhibition will begin at 10 am and will continue throughout the day. By this time
tomorrow, we will be enjoying the art at the gallery."

Friend: "Great! I'm excited to see those beautiful paintings. Can you give me the location of the art
gallery?"

Tu: "Sure, it is located on Main Street. It is believed to be one of the best galleries in town."

Friend: "I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for inviting me."

Tu: "It's my pleasure. I'm excited to share this experience with you."

First part

 Write a dialogue (conversation between two people).


 Invite someone to an art exhibition in this conversation.
 Choose between any of these forms of visual arts: painting, drawings, sculptures, or
photography.
 Be creative and include the expressions to invite people out.
 You can also use some of the questions below to start your conversation:
 What kind of art do you like most?

 What is your favorite form of art?


 Who are some famous artists that you have heard of?
 Have you ever heard of Frida Kahlo/Alfredo Sinclair/or any other artist...?Have you
visited any art galleries or museums lately?

 How often do you visit art galleries or museums?


 Do you know any art gallery?
 Have you ever been to any famous art museums?
 What art museums have you visited? Which did you like best and why?
 Do you know anyone who is a good artist? What kind of art can they produce?
 Do you enjoy going to museums and looking at paintings or sculptures?
 Do you have a favorite painting?

 Add sentences in the future continuous tense. Example: By this time tomorrow we will be
enjoying art at...
 Apply indirect speech using the passive voice form to report what people say or believe.
Example: Painting is believed to be one of the most common and familiar forms of visual
art.
 Add pictures (at least 3) to illustrate the conversation.
 The conversation must have at least 30 lines. Fifteen lines each person in the
conversation.
