STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am pleased to share with you that I Nitika Bedi has been accepted for two years Business (Co-op) course for January 2024 at the
Georgian College, Toronto. I would like to take an opportunity here to present myself in Business (Co-op) (BUSG) course program in
Canada. I am entering the most crucial phase of my life; a phase during which I need to make significant academic decisions that will
have a bearing effect on my future life and career. I have keen interest in business and that made me more passionate to engage in
business field.

 I completed my matriculation with 92.2% in 2021 from Central Board of Secondary Education.
 Thereafter, I did my senior secondary education (commerce) with 92.2% under Central Board of Secondary Education in year
2023.
 Additionally, I have acceptable language proficiency as I have scored overall 7.0 band (listening 7.0, reading 7.5, writing 6.0,
and speaking 6.5).

Motivations for studying Business Diploma:- Like others I also want to be successful in my life. I definitely want to know everything
about global business and what’s going on at international front. Being the citizen of India, a large country going through the phase of its
development, I want to contribute towards the development of my country by learning from the leading business developments in the
world.

 Obtaining a diploma in business will open the doors of new opportunities for me to work in a company.
 Having a diploma means the possibility of promotions and of a pay raise with the right skill sets and knowledge.
 The business world is diverse and while it is ever-changing there are some key skills and knowledge every business leader
needs to master.
 Being a leader, it is important for me to have an understanding of how the business functions as I may be required to wear
several hats in my role.
 Throughout this diploma course I will cover a variety of study areas including; marketing, human resources, accounting,
banking and retail, to name a few.
 The knowledge I will gain from these study areas will teach me how to make a business succeed in a competitive
environment.
 Studying a business diploma come well equipped for the workforce with strong business knowledge and very desirable,
practical skills.

I will acquire the following skills and knowledge through this program:-

 Develop fundamental skills to thrive in today’s fast-paced, complex business world.

 I will use accounting and financial principles to support the operations of an organization.
 I will develop strategies for on-going personal and professional development to enhance work performance in the business field.

The contents, I will study in my curriculum are Financial Accounting Principles; Introduction to Organizational Behaviour;
Microcomputer Applications; Mathematics of Finance; Introduction to Marketing; Customer Service; Microeconomics; Human
Resources Management Foundations; Professional Edge; etc.

Career Outcomes:- After graduating, I will come back to India; I can secure a job in the field of Marketing, Management and finance.

 India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, which attracts many companies to the country.
 India has grown as a corporate hub since the last two decades and international business program has an increasing demand
as the corporations rely on Business professionals to oversee all aspects of a project in order that everything flows seamlessly
and therefore the timeline, scope, and budget goals are met.
 In the long-term, I plan to return to my native country, where the fast-developing economy requires experienced business
management professionals.
 The role of business professionals are going to be of increased importance within the coming years, and that I decide to use my
business background to help within the structured development of domestic companies.
 I can progress in a variety of business management careers in both government and private sectors. I would like to work with
top companies like Wipro, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Accenture, TCS, KPGM, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Cognizant, Cap
Gemini, and Deloitte etc.
 I may work in the sectors like banks, finance, trust and insurance companies, computer firms, government ministries and
agencies, producers of consumer and industrial products, wholesalers, retailers, private companies and non-profit organizations.

Financial Ability:- My family is well established in India. My father got deceased therefore; my mother and paternal uncle will support
me financially. My mother is a government employee and also manages household works. I have already paid my tuition fees i.e. CAD
$ 16,689 and GIC CAD $ 10,000 for my living expenses in my GIC account.

 Annual income of my mother and uncle is INR 17,00,570 (CAD 28,342.83).

I hope that I have provide my all necessary information to support my study permit application and I make a sincere appeal to the visa
office to grant me study visa as soon as possible so that I can pursue my passion and look after my bright future in India as an inspiring
businesswoman.
