Introduction:
Training methods are techniques used to teach someone the
necessary skills and knowledge to perform a task.
Methods of training:
1.On the Job : It is a form of training provided at the workplace.
During the training, employee are familiarized with the working
environment they will become part of.
a. Job Instructional Training(JIT)
b. Mentoring
c. Job Rotation
d. Coaching
e. Apprenticeship

2. Off the Job: The Off the Job Training is the training method
wherein the workers/employees learn their job roles away
from the actual work floor.
a. Vestibule training
b. Role playing
c. Discussion Method
d. Lectures Method

Objectives:
1. Identify Learning Outcomes: Start by identifying what
participants should be able to do or know by the end of the
training.
2. Relevance: Make sure the objectives are relevant to the
participants roles and the overall goals of the training.
3. Use the SMART Criteria: Make your objective SMART:Specific,
Measurable , Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
4. Check for Understanding: After stating the objectives, check if
participants have any questions or need clarification.

Methodology:
1. Assess Training Needs: Begin by understanding the needs of
the participants and the training objectives.
2. Select the Methodology: Consider various training
methodologies, such as lectures, workshops, hands-on
activities, e-learning, role plays, or a combination of these.
3. Assessment and Feedback: Include regular assessments or
checkpoints to measure participant understanding and
provide immediate feedback.
4. Clear Communication: Communicate the training
methodology to participants at the beginning of the session.
Problems:
1. Preparation: Thoroughly prepare before the training.
Familiarize yourself with the content, materials, and
technology.
2. Time Management: Stick to the training schedule.
Allocate time for each topic and activity.
3. Technical Issues: Be prepared for technical problems,
especially in virtual or technology-dependent training.
4. Questions and Clarification: Encourage questions and
clarify doubts as they arise. Create a safe space for
participants to ask questions.
