Option 2:Soft brake Soft brake provides 50% of full braking power. General aircraft
• Time advance programmable (low/middle/high/auto) use, with fixed or folding prop
Thanks to purchase the TURNIGY ® brushless motor ESC.
Option 3:Hard brake Hard brake is 70% braking power. Direct drive applications where
please read this instruction booklet carefully before use. Wish you have a pleasant flight. • Governor mode (governor low/governor high) more braking power is required. Hard brake should only be used
below 12V.
• Programmable current limiting (very sensitive/standard/insensitive/disable)
4 Timing Advance
Warning • Programmable startup types (very soft start/soft start/fast start)
Option 1: Low advance Recommended for more lower pole count motors. Gives more
timing 0°~ 15 ° power and slightly less efficient.
• We strongly recommend to calibrate the throttle travel when you at the very first to use the ESC • Thermal Protection (100 centigrade)
Option 2: middle Recommended for most motors .Gives a good balance of power
or when using a new/different transmitter and receiver.
• Apply to most of inrunner and outrunner brushless motors. advance timing 5 °~ 20 and efficiency.
°
•When connecting the ESC to battery pack, please ensure that the polarity of battery is correct. • No complex programming, auto adapt work mode. Option 3: High advance Recommended for most of higher pole count motors
Incorrect polarity may cause permanent damage to the ESC and such damage is not covered by the timing 15° ~ 30 °
WARRANTY. • A LED (flashes) indicates the current limiting or temperature protection is activated.
Option4:Auto(default) Recommended for most of all brushless motors.
• When you use the ESC, turn on the transmitter BEFORE powering on the receiver. • Runs motor in forward or reverse by swapping any two motor wire connections.

• Safe “power on” arming program ensures motor will not accidentally turn on. 5 Cutoff Type
• When finishing the flying, power off the receiver BEFORE turning off the transmitter.
• Auto shut down when signal is lost or radio interference becomes severe for more than 3 seconds Option 1 :Hard cutoff When battery voltage reaches cut-off voltage the motor will
