Title: The tragic love story of Orpheus and Eurydice

2. I love how Orpheus would risk his life just to get his love of his life Eurydice.

3. Greek mythology’s Orpheus and Eurydice tells the tragic tale of the singer Orpheus and his lifelong
love Eurydice. Orpheus grew depressed after Eurydice died after receiving a bite by a poisonous snake
and made the decision to travel down to the underworld to find Eurydice. Even the gods themselves can
be moved by his entrancing melodies. That includes Hades, who gave him another chance because he
once had feelings for Persephone and was just like him. Hades gave Orpheus permission to accompany
Eurydice back to earth, but with one stipulation: he was to refrain from looking back at her until they
reached the surface. Orpheus was able to maintain his composure the entire journey and avoided
looking back. But he was growing more excited and impatient as they approached the brightness of the
live world. Orpheus turned around to embrace his beloved the moment the first shaft of light hit his
face. He suddenly understood his dreadful error. While Eurydice remained in the shadowy realm of the
dead, he was now standing in the world of the living.

The narrative looks at Issues of love, loss, and the human urge to escape death’s clutches. The
opportunity for bliss was shattered, though, by Orpheus’s moment of uncertainty.
