Guidelines:
1. Entrance Examination Form for Ph.D. Entrance Examination Sep. 2023 can be
filled online only.
2. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant to ensure his/her eligibility for
pursuing Ph.D. as per the norms of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
3. Candidates who fail to fulfill the eligibility as per UGC norms shall not be
enrolled for pursuing Ph.D. even after being declared eligible in the Entrance
Examination Result.
4. Providing incorrect information deliberately shall be treated as an illegal act and
shall be dealt with accordingly.

5. Ph.D. Entrance Examination Form is available at the official website of MATS
University.
6. The Examination Fee for all the candidates is Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand
Only)
7. Ph.D. Entrance Examination Fee can be submitted online only after filling out
the form.
8. Ph.D. Entrance Examination Fee once deposited shall not be refunded under
any condition.
9. The Last date for filling out the Ph.D. Entrance Examination Form is 25 August
2023.
10. Examination shall be conducted on 1st September 2023 from 11.00 AM to 1.00
PM by Pen and Paper mode.
11. After the Examination candidate must appear for an Interview with the faculty
of the concerned department on the same day, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
12. All questions shall be in multiple choice answers pattern with 50 questions
from the concerned subjects and 50 questions from Research Methodology.
13. Candidates shall be informed of their results of the said examination,
separately through the University website only. Candidates are advised to check
the MATS University website periodically.
14. Only those candidates shall be provided the result who are declared eligible in
the examination.
15. Any call or query regarding the result of the Ph.D. Entrance Examination shall
not be entertained.
16. Further process shall be communicated only to the eligible candidates.
17. MATS University reserves the right to cancel/ postpone the Ph.D. Entrance
Examination.
