Summary
Following the GA release of version 4.1 software on 23rd December 2015, software release
version 4.1 and the subsequent maintenance releases of 4.1, supersedes all prior versions as the
latest available GA software. Avaya is updating the software lifecycle management guidance for
the VSP 9000 platform along with providing notification for the End of Sale of VSP 9000 software
version 3.4.

Avaya did not introduce a material code for Release 4.0/4.0.1. However this document indicates
the End of Support dates for release 4.0/4.0.1 as well. The same is being updated in the Software
Lifecycle Management guidance document as well.

Effective 1 September, 2016 Avaya will no longer sell Virtual Services Platform software version
3.4.

The following table provides an updated summary of software lifecycle planning dates as
a result of this announcement:

Migration Strategy
