WEEK BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DAILY ACTIVITIES

Firstly, setting up the company’s laptop, as well as gaining and creating


company’s account profile and email. After that, I had a meeting with the talent
hiring manager for the introduction to the company, short briefing of how the
company works, systems used, workflow and the culture.
Next, meeting and getting to know the supervisor manager and the team
1-2 members. Furthermore, requesting access for work related data and software
and getting used to the day-to-day systems, apps and software. In addition,
received forecasting overview tips and introduction from other team, as well as
joining quarterly forecasting meeting for software finance. Other than that, self-
learning using Your Learning platform to learn basic EPM. Lastly, meeting for
intern’s round table and software finance all hands.
All accesses have been approved and getting familiar with the systems. Attended
weekly team meeting and received new assignment to create team web page
using W3 publisher. Not to mention, continued using Your Learning platform

learning and getting familiar with EPM. Other than that, volunteered in organizing
intern’s gathering and farewell ceremony. Meeting with the intern’s gathering
team.
Meeting regarding team web page tasks and continue working on team’s web
page using W3 publisher. After that, joined weekly team meeting and continued
planning and organizing intern’s ceremony session. Moreover, attended software
forecast review meeting as well as IBM FutureMe event. Furthermore, attended

and handled the intern’s gathering and farewell ceremony. Not to mention, had a
team lunch with the software finance team. Besides that, introduced and set up
DB2 software systems and account, SAP software systems and ICA software
systems. Lastly, updating the progress for the web publisher tasks.
Getting familiar with the ICA, DB2 and SAP systems and helping with updating
the ICA lists for software finance. Next, continuing progress for the web publisher
7-8 tasks. Attended weekly team meeting and checked on the update of DB2 and
DOU ICA systems. Self-learning using YourLearning platform and lastly, updating
the progress for web publisher tasks.

Joined weekly team meeting regarding finance department. Next, meeting for w3
9 – 10 publisher’s progress and future project. Self-learning on generative AI using
YourLearning platfrom. Continued working on the W3 publisher’s web page.

Continued with the Desk Procedure for RPO tasks, had a meeting with team
members regarding the tasks. Created a draft for the Desk Procedure. After that,
I also have a weekly meeting with the team to update the ongoing tasks and to
brief on the software finance situation.
To add on, I had a meeting regarding Watsonx challenge that the team will be

participating in, and I was appointed to lead the team to complete the challenge.
Lastly, I had an intern monthly roundtable meeting sharing session and
completed the RPO desk procedure tasks. Next, I set up the team brief
description and sign up the team for the Watsonx challenge and briefly explain
the requirements to the team.
Joined weekly team meeting regarding closing and quarter meeting. After that,
had a meeting regarding watsonx challenge preparation. Moreover, had a SIT
report presentation and evaluation with university supervisor and HC manager.

Next, Watsonx challenge kick-off and meeting to distribute work and
brainstorming session. Helped with creating extending project request using
engage tools.

Firstly, I received a tour around the company’s building and got to


know the layout of the office. Besides that, I received a company’s
working laptop to be used during the internship program. Then, setting
up the company’s laptop, as well as gaining and creating company’s
account profile and email. After that, I had a meeting with the talent
hiring manager for the introduction to the company along with a short
briefing of how the company works, systems used, workflow,
organizational chart, and the culture. Other than that, the talent hiring
manager showed me around the office for me to get familiar with the
office.

Next, I had a meeting with the team members and got to know the
supervisor manager and the team members. Furthermore, I was guided

by the senior intern in the team to get me started with getting familiar
with the workflow, what to expect and the systems and software that
will be used. To add on, I requested all the accesses for work related
data and software. In addition, I received forecasting overview tips and
introductions from other teams, as well as joining quarterly forecasting
meeting for software finance. I also joined weekly team meetings with
the team members to receive an update regarding IBM and to welcome
me as a new intern for the team. Other than that, I was introduced to
YourLearning platform and started self-learning using the platform to
learn basic EPM. Lastly, I joined a meeting for intern’s round table and
software finance all hands.

Firstly, accesses for using all the software, platform and Data have been
granted. Once all the accesses have been granted, I was guided by the
Senior intern on how to use the accesses and get used to it. Moreover,
I attended weekly team meeting for any updates and briefing regarding
the software finance team. After that, I was given a project on making
3-4 22/5/23-2/6/23 the team web page using w3 publisher platform. I attended a meeting
with the team regarding the team web page project in detail.

To add on, I also did some self-learning using YourLearning platform


to learn more on EPM. Other than that, I volunteered to work on an
event for internship gathering and farewell ceremony.

WEEK NO DATE BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DAILY ACTIVITIES

Continued with the Desk Procedure for RPO tasks, had a meeting
with team members regarding the tasks. Created a draft for the
Desk Procedure. After that, I also have a weekly meeting with the
team to update the ongoing tasks and to brief on the software
finance situation.
To add on, I had a meeting regarding Watsonx challenge that the
team will be participating in, and I was appointed to lead the team
11-12 17/7/23-28/7/23
to complete the challenge. Lastly, I had an intern monthly
roundtable meeting sharing session and completed the RPO desk
procedure tasks. Next, I set up the team brief description and sign
up the team for the Watsonx challenge and briefly explain the
requirements to the team.
