What is a possessive pronoun?
What are those words we use in possessive pronouns?

 The teacher will give an exercise about possessive pronouns.

Directions: Fill in the blanks using the correct possessive pronouns (my, mine, your, his, her, or their).

1) I lost ___________ pen in the canteen.


2) He took __________ pet dog to school.
3) Nita placed a stamp on ___________ letter.
4) The girls brought _____________ dolls to school.

Personal Pronouns
 Words that take place the name of the persons.

I – is used when you talk about yourself.


He- is used when you talk about a man or a boy.
She – is used when you talk about a woman or girl.
It – is used when you talk about animals and things.
We – is used when you talk about other persons and yourself.
You - is used when you are talking to the person.
They – is used when you talk about other people.

2. Post Activities
Write 2 sentences using each personal pronoun (I, He, She, It, We, They, and You). 2 points for
each sentence.

IV. Evaluation
Directions: Rewrite the sentence in ½ sheet of paper. Change the underlined nouns to
pronouns.

1) Nona is industrious and cheerful.


2) Nestor and Toni are helpful.
3) Clara and Mara came from Sulu.
4) Igorots live in the Mountain Province.
5) Ali is a Muslim boy.
6) The Muslims are our friends in the South.
7) My uncle is a doctor.

10) The boys water the plants.

V. Assignment

In your notebook, write a narrative about you that happened in your past that shows or
applies the value of Honesty. Then below, list the personal pronouns you used in your
narrative.
