Let us read a short story about a boy who had a chance to experience an encounter
with underwater creatures. Kindly take a look on the underlined words.

“Encounter with Underwater Paradise”

My name is Joseph Gabriel D. Marañon. I had my first tour in Manila

Ocean Park last year. It is an oceanarium located in Manila, Philippines . Mother
and Kiel, my little brother came with me. They accompanied me in the tour. Ate
Millet is our tour coordinator. She assisted us at the park entrance. I was really
amazed at first sight. It’s like entering a giant aquarium where different underwater
species were inside.

Kuya Justine is our tour guide. He told us that the oceanarium is home to
14,000 marine creatures from around 277 species, all indigenous to the Philippines
and Southeast Asia. Its total size and diversity make it one of the world's best
public aquariums.

Mother, Kiel and I were really impressed in a curved walkway tunnel. We

witnessed the spectacular underwater view of amazing sea creatures swimming
overhead.

After the oceanarium, we had the chance to roam around and found the
Yexel museum, a toy museum owned by Yexel Sebastian. It exhibits life-sized
cartoon animation, video games and movie-based characters. Mother took us some
pictures with the minions, transformers and the characters in Star Wars.

I also tried the fish spa where dozens of fishes nibble the dead skin of my
feet. I had a tickling feeling on the process.

I also saw the stingray and given the chance to touched it through the help
of their friendly trainers. Then at three in the afternoon, we were instructed to
proceed on the sea lion show. The sea lions were fantastic, their special skills and
unique characteristics were shown.

It was a fun full and meaningful experience. I learned to give more

importance and respect to the underwater creatures and appreciate its beauty.
