Solid waste issue: Sources, composition, disposal, recycling, and valorization

1. Problem of the Study

- The research talks about the one of the major problems in of urban
environment in most countries nowadays is the disposal of solid wastes.
Organic solid waste is dramatically increasing each year. Most of them
are agricultural waste, household food waste, human and animal wastes.
Based on the analysis and report few articles supplied quantitative
information related to waste management in developing countries.

2. Target Population
According to the researchers, the target population is 4 continents in
which the study will be conducted.

3. Sample Size
According to the researchers, the Sample Size is 22 developing
countries and on more than thirty urban areas.

4. Sampling Techniques
The sampling technique that the researcher used is Cluster sampling
because they divide the population into multiple groups in order to obtain
the information needed for the research.

5. Design of Experiment
The research design that is used in the study is Descriptive Design
because they observe the behavior of a subject without influencing in
any way.

6. Result of the study

One of the most significant environmental issues is Solid Waste. The
Organic solid state fermentation (SSF) proposed a technology in order to
reduce the organic waste in our environment. Domestic food waste
management and plastic waste disposal is a major concern in most
countries across the world. Plastic can be burned or incinerated in the
municipal or other dedicated wastes with power and heat generation.

classes and their current health status. In the wake of COVID-19,
educators are facing unprecedented challenges, including the disruption of
established instructional programs and routines, the rapid transition from
in-person teaching to remote learning. Teaching is shifting online, on an
untested and unprecedented scale. Teachers in higher education
institutions are presumed to have more responsibilities and heavier
workload

2. Target population
- According to the researcher, the target population was distributed in
Mindanao, Region XII, specifically in General Santos City, Sultan Kudarat
Province, and South Cotabato Province.

3. Sample size
- The researcher didn’t indicate the sample size because the research was
made voluntarily distributed from Mindanao, Region XII, specifically in
General Santos City, Sultan Kudarat Province, and South Cotabato
Province.

4. Sampling techniques
- According to the researcher, the sampling technique that is used in the
study is Voluntary response sampling.

5. Design of the experiment

- According to the researcher, the research design that is used in the study
is Descriptive Design.

6. Result of the study

- Educators must aware of the importance of their health and give them a
wider view on how to take care of themselves in spite of the pandemic that
is occurring. Covid-19 had a huge impact in our daily lives and affects
many profession and people around the world. The educators must
