Gen CARMA ‘23

VLOGOSPHERE
Vlogging has taken over the internet in recent years and is steadily becoming one of the major mediums for mass
communication. You Tubers have millions of subscribers and views on their vlogs and can reach people from any part of
the world. Delegates will have to make a video, vlogging about their time at CARMA while incorporating the theme of
CARMA into their videos.

Event Format:
Participants are required to submit their videos to gblsociety23@gmail.com by the given deadline.
(Subject: Vlogosphere submission-team name)

Instructions:
Delegates are required to create a ‘vlog’, capturing their moments during CARMA.
1. The vlog must include the following:
a. General coverage of CARMA and the team’s preparation
b. Specific coverage of at least one Journalism Event (Anchor It, Shootout, etc).
c. An informal chat with at least two host team members (President, Vice president, etc).
d. An informal chat with a delegate from a different team.
2. The following will be awarded bonus points:
a. Incorporation of the theme (in composition, stylistic palette, costumes, etc).
b. Witty commentary.
c. Innovative thinking.
3. The video must be in a format supported by VLC Media Player.
4. The duration of the video must be between 3-5 minutes, violations will result in penalties.
5. The addition of a soundtrack is allowed.

Judging Criteria:
• Originality of idea
• Creativity
• Video making skills

• Entertainment Index
