Green Team developed a pledge at their October meeting.

Here it is: As a member of Naldrett's Green Team, I will encourage
my family and friends to follow the 5 R's - Refuse, Reduce, Reuse,
Repurpose, and Recycle. I will promote cleaner transportation. I will
strive to reduce the use of energy and water to help protect the
environment for a better planet Earth!

CARING FOR BACKYARD ANIMALS
Challenge 1 - Leave the Leaves
Don’t rake and throw away ALL the fallen leaves this fall.
Animals need leaves for building nests and keeping warm.
LEAVE THE LEAVES (at least some) to help the animals

Challenge 2 - Feed the Birds

Feeding birds is a fun year-round family activity.
If you START feeding birds, you should
continue through the whole winter. If you do
not have a birdfeeder, you could always
make one. Find a design online. This video
explains what birds can and cannot eat
and has some simple birdfeeder ideas:
