ANNUAL REPORT- 2019-20

A hearty Welcome & A Happy New Year2020!!!.

Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools & colleges, one of the pioneers in the field of
education, established by the enterprising visionaries, the founder and Honourable
chairperson Dr. B.S Rao and his wife Dr. Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, with their far
reaching vision, laid a firm foundation for the Institution.

As we approach to the end of this Academic year, I take this opportunity to thank
the Almighty lord for his abundant blessings and guidance from the Managing
committee under the patronage of its honourable founders Dr. B.S Rao, Dr. Jhansi
Lakshmi Bai and the Honourable Directors of Sri Chaitanya Techno Schools, Mrs.
Seema Boppanna and Mr. Nagendra sir.

I take immense pleasure in presenting the Annual Report of Sri Chaitanya Techno
School, Seshadripuram, documenting its developments and achievements. The year
2019/20 was marked with many events and success stories. This can be attributed
to the dedication and team spirit of the members of the management, staff and
students.

 We are happy to announce that students of Grade X from Sri Chaitanya,


Seshadripuram branch passed out the CBSE March 2020 board examination
with 100% pass, with the highest aggregate of
98.4 % MARKS SECURED BY MS DEVILAKSHMI…
 33 STUDENTS SECURED 90% MARKS AND ABOVE, AND 85 STUDENTS
PAASSED OUT WITH DISTINCTION…
 11 STUDENTS SECURED 100% MARKS IN VARIOUS SUBJECTS.
 We are proud to have 6 students from Sri Chaitanya Seshadripuram to
achieve NTSE 1ST Level Examination from Seshadripuram branch.
 Sri Chaitanya Schools all over India created history on 04th December, 2019
by achieving 2 World Records on the same day!!!!
1,42,000 students from Primary section of 390 Sri Chaitanya schools
performed Sports Drill and Yogasana Simultaneously at multiple venues and
created World Records in 2 events. All students performed have been
awarded World Records from Elite World Records, Asian Records
ACADEMY AND INDIA RECORDS ACADEMY.
 Staying update is the key to success, Our teachers constantly strive to stay in
tune with times by attending workshops and Faculty Development
Programme.
 Seminars on positive thinking, work ethics & empathy - All related to life
skills have been conducted.
 We also conducted student enrichment programme to help students face all
challenges of life
 PTM is a regular feature held at our school to review students’ activities and
take valuable feedback from parents.

PRE PRIMARY SECTION

 Our students of Pre–Primary wing with SriChitanya’s STAR KIDS


curriculum engage in activities which include effective instructional
practices, interactive learning centres, physical developmental activities and
effective story times for the kids to both understand and memorize at an
early stage, and establish perfect equilibrium.
 Sample Physical Developmental activities like walking on the line, moving
to the rhythm of music etc establish perfect equilibrium and help coordinate
development of attention and will.
 Mavericks is a whole new programme for the Pre primary students of Sri
Chaitanya, where we place a huge value on personalised learning with an
exclusive strategy and regimen to help our students take challenges of 21 st
century.

PRIMARY SECTION

 Our primary wing is a blend of unique programme with an improved


teaching methodology. the young Learners’ Programme, called YLP has
already been the unique curriculum of SriChaitanya, achieving the best
results through proven tools and techniques.
 Brain Matrix, a new curriculum has been infused into the Primary wing this
year, with International Teaching methodologies, optimal integration of
technology, complementing infrastructure with the widest focus on co-
scholastic development. Oxford Advantage curriculum, Artificial
Intelligence, Japanese language, GYM equipment for fitness, and
Instrumental Music with Cambridge certification etc are the unique features
of the Brain Matrix curriculum.
HIGH SCHOOL

Here is a glimpse of the functions that marked the school calendar this
year.
 This year’s Environment day celebration was held on 6th June 2019. The
celebrations show cased innovative ways to inculcate environmental
awareness and to tap the hidden talent of the students.
 The Investiture Ceremony, honouring the elected members and installation
of the School cabinet was held on 19th June 2019.
Miss Sneha V was elected as the Head girl and Master Sathvik S Naik the
head boy.
 This year’s International Yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2019,
adding a bit of music and dance into yoga and expressed the importance of
yoga as a way of life.
 Music gives wings to the mind and life to every thing. World Music

Day was celebrated on 21 June 2019.
 Independence day on 15th August this year was also a significant event,
inculcating the spirit of patriotism. Unfurling the National Flag, followed by
cultural programme with patriotic songs, dances and speeches highlighted
the day.
 Teachers’ Day was celebrated on 05th September, 2019, paying tributes to
all the teachers who shape the future mind.
 Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions celebrated the Birthday of Hon.
Chairperson Dr Jhansi Lakshmi Bai on 6th November, 2019. Blood
Donation Camps were organised and I thank each and every parent, staff
and well wishers who joined hands with us in this noble cause and donated
blood.
 Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November 2019. Our students
visited Orphanages, carrying a memorable experience, realizing the
importance of helping those needy people.
 Sri Chaitanya always belives that Sports build good habits, confidence and
discipline. National Sports Day was celebrated on 29th August, 2019 to
commemorate the birth anniversary of Hockey legend Dhyan Chand.
 The Annual Sports Meet was conducted on 19th December , 2019.
Students participated with steely brands of determination in all the events.
The Primary & High School sportsmeet will be held in February.
 We at Srichaitanya believe that every child is born with a unique
talent. To unfurl the talents of the children, we organised various
Literary and Cultural competitions
 Students of Pre primary wing showcased a variety of activities to highlight
the importance of the family to the developmental, Emotional and
Cognitive growth of a child.
 The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals…

 Krishna Janmashtami Was celebrated on 23 August, 2019
depicting the multiple life lessons Lord Krishna has enriched us
with.
 Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts &
sciences, and the Deva of intellect and wisdom… Ganesha
Chathurthi was celebrated on 04th September, 2019

 Onam, the festival of Kerala was celebrated on 12 September,
2019 welcomig the home coming of King Mahabali.
 Dussehra, was celebrated on 8th October, 2019, depicting the victory of
good over evil.
 We celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava on 1st November, 2019 with a month
long activities to inculcate patriotism towards the state.
 Christmas at Srichaitanya was celebrated with Zest and fervor with all its
traditions and merry making.
 SriChaitanya believes in imparting holistic education. Pre- Primary
students were on a Field Trip to Fire Station on 09th September, 2019 to
experience the Fire safety measures. They also visited the Martin Farm,
Bangalore on 14th December, 2019, weaving Animals and food into the
curriculum.
 Students of Primary and High School visited the Jawaharlal Nehru
Planetarium, and Grade X students visited the Native Indian Resort.
 Under Smart living programme, students are involved in a plethora of
activities involving health & hygiene, patriotic, environmental and
Traffic Awareness concepts.
 High School students had an opportunity at Vishveshwaraya Industrial and
Technological Museum on 9th October, 2019 to interact and attend a
seminar by Dr Ann Devereaux, the Manager for NASA’s Space Craft
Engineering division and the lead flight system engineer for the Mars
2020- Rover.
 NATIONAL MATH DAY was celebrated on 21st December 2019,
designed to relate Math with the real world. Learning math was made
interesting and lively by associating it with everything we see around us.
 Next on the agenda was the Science and Math Exhibitions, which brought
out the hidden academic talent with some innovative and highly information
models and exhibits.
 NASA space programme at Sri Chaitanya has been a huge success every
year. At Seshadripuram branch alone, we have 55 participants with 16
space settlement projects getting ready to be a part of NASA space colony
settlement research contest, exploring what is beyond our planet Earth and
what is beyond our atmosphere.
Prof. Dr Narasimha Murthy, Retd. Scientist and Professor of Molecular
physics from IISC,Bangalore, honoured and inspired these 55 students.

OLYMPIAD EXAMS :

Seshadripuram Branch has witnessed a huge participation in Olympiad


exams like INTSO , Unified Council & NTSE Competitive Exams.

 Olympiad exams in Science, Math, English, Computer and Aptitude


brought more than 100 selections for the next level this year.
 Master Arvind Srikant of Grade 4 and Master Sai Srithij K.N of Grade
5 won the National Mathematics Talent Search Olympiad last year.
 Master Nikhil Karthik P.L won the GTSO National Olympiad last year.

Achievements :
 Happy to share that our Primary students set their foot prints in GAJSMA,
an International Abacus Competition in Dubai on 14th October, 2019 and
all the partipants of Sri Chaitanya Seshadripuram won prizes. Sri Chaitanya
Educational Institutions bagged 38- 1st prizes , 53- 2nd prizes, 17 Champions
and 13 Super Champions
Tanve.B of Grade V won the Super Champion Award, Manu. G of Grade V
won the 1st Place, Pradyumna. P and Zidaan Syed of Grade V won the 3rd
Place.
 Master Arihant Jain of Grade VII has been placed on the Guiness World
Record for creating a Rubrik’s mosaic Tiger out of 1,200 cubes, one of the
first on the World records from Sri Chaitanya..He has also created an
Individual World Record for solving the maximum number of Rubrik’s
cubes continuously in 3 hours. He solved 350 Rubrik’s cubes in 3 hours.
 Master Sharvil Lokesh Reddy of Grade VIIC4IPL has won Gold medals in
4 X 50 Mtrs Medley, 4 X 50 Mtrs Free style and 50 Mtrs Free style in the
State JuniorAcquatic Championship organised by Karnataka Swimming
Association on 30th May, 2019. He was also the National Champion in the
CBSE National Aquatic meet. He won the Silver medal in 200metres Free
style at the National Aquatic meet held in Hyderabad on
03.01.2020.Congratulations dear Sharvil…

 Master Siddarth. P of Grade X won the Bronze medal in CBSE South


Zone Boxing under 17 years, 17 kg category. He also won Gold medal in the
National Sub Junior and Teen Pencak Silat Championship and has been
adjudged the best fighter in the event organised by Pencak Silat Association
at Bhopal, Madhyapradesh on 21st & 23rd June, 2019. He will be
representing India in the Asian Pencak Silat Championship in Singapore
next month. Congratulations dear Siddharth.
 Master Gautam Kumar of Grade VIII M3 batch won the Gold medal in
International Taekwondo Championship held in Nepal in October 2019,
Bronze medal in CBSE Taekwondo Championship in below 57 kg
category and Gold medal in Poomsae and Kyorugi in the State Level
Taekwondo Championship in November 2019. He has been awarded the
Kempegowda Prashasthi Title by Karnataka Academy.
 Master Aditya U.B of Grade IX won the Bronze medal in Martial Arts at
Yokohama in Japan.
 Master Prathyush Ranganathan of Grade 2 won the Bronze medal in
Taekwondo at the International Tournament held in Taiwan. He also won
Gold medals in Poomsae and Kyorugi in South India Taekwondo
Championship in 2019 powered by Karnataka Taekwondo Association.
 Master Nihant. T of Grade 3 won the Gold medal in Taekwondo in the
International Tournament held in China this year.
 Master Nakul. S of Grade 4 won the Gold medal in Taekwondo
International Tournament held in South Korea this year.
 Master Jeevan B.S of Grade 5 won the Gold medal in Taekwondo
International Tournament held in Nepal.
 Miss Lekhana. H of Grade 5 won the silver medal in the International
Taekwondo Championship held in Thailand.
 Sri Chaitanya, Seshadripuram Cricket Team won the Karnataka State
Cricket Association under 14 Cricket Tournament on 06th December, 2019
