Digital Health Records Management for Antenatal and Postnatal Care at Etl-

gs Maternity Clinic

Area of Investigation

Etl-gs Maternity Clinic was located at Lanzones Street, Golden Acres Subd.,

Talon Singko, Las Piñas, Philippines.

When a patient's child's antenatal and postnatal records are not in soft

copy, it might cause issues. A few of the problems the patient ran with included

misplacing their copy and having to return for the documentation. Digital Health Records

Management is a system for medical practitioners at Etl-gs Maternity Clinic that helps

keep track of the medical records of each patient and prescribed medicines. Digital

Health Records Management is a management system, that has an inventory system for

their medicine supplies and record of the patients.

Digital Health Records Management is a useful tool for doctors, nurses,

and midwives wherein they can easily encode the patient’s clinical records and

prescribed medicines and they can even keep track of their patient’s clinical

appointments or regular checkups. This system is meant for the administration and staff

of the maternity clinic, where they can have full access to needed information stored in
the system, by the help of the system, it will help clinic staff and administrators minimize

the amount of work they tend to render on a day-to-day process.

Significance of the Project

The aim of this project is to create a Digital Health Records Management

for Antenatal and Postnatal Care at Etl-gs Maternity Clinic. The project will be

significant for various sectors as follow:

Clinic staff and doctors will have the digital health records of the clients; they

don't need to have a face-to-face interview, and they can use it for backup records.

Women, infants, and pregnant women will have digital health record

management for antenatal and postnatal care. They will have a soft copy record of the

child before and after birth.

Future Researcher, this project may provide additional information for the future

researcher who wants to conduct this kind of study. This will may also be a guide for the

future researcher when they are doing their system or program.

are:
