ACTION PLAN

A. Project Title:

Switch It Up: "Promoting Sustainable Waste Management and Recycling"

B. Nature of the Project

The Switch It Up: "Promoting Sustainable Waste Management and Recyling" project, conducted
by The Waste Wise Ones - Organization (TWOO), aims to collect all recyclables and promotes
appropriate waste segregation, with a focus on plastic bottles, within the campus.

The collected plastic bottles will not go to waste. They will sold into a junkshop. but in return,
goods will be given to reciprocate the commodity they gave. This creative approach to waste
management not only minimizes environmental impact but also supports future improvements
and sustainability projects within the school.

C. Target Community/Institution

This exciting challenge involves the collection of plastic bottles from classrooms and various
locations around the campus, from each section per grade level.

D. Background

The saying 'MAY PERA SA BASURA' holds a much deeper meaning than meets the eye. It
reminds us of the importance of responsible waste management and recycling and also serves as
a powerful reminder that discarded items can hold value. Never underestimate the potential of
waste.

E. General Objectives
Encouraging the youth to participate in and support the 'The Waste Wise Ones' project as a
means to reduce the waste disposal problem in the school.

F. Specific Objectives

a. Reduce the amount of waste produced in the school.


b. By promoting the responsible disposal and collection of plastic bottles

G. Time, Date and Venue:

The collection of bottles will took at least the end of Second Quarter, every 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at
Isabela National High School; Junior and Senior High School.

H. Budget Proposal and Source of Fund:

We will sell it to a junk shop to earn the money, and in return, we will give some school
materials, including paper and pencils, as a token of our appreciation. based on the kilograms of
recyclables they provide.
