Work Experience
Crew Member – McDonald’s: July 2023 – PRESENT

I am responsible for cooking and preparing food for customers, whilst simultaneously giving friendly and
fast service. Ensuring the cleanliness of all utensils used in the kitchen and communicating efficiently with
my colleagues to maximise customer satisfaction.

Work Shadowing – BT Group: July 2023 – July 2023

I overviewed all the E2E (end-to-end) business processes within BT Group whilst also attending strategy
meetings related to vision and mission statements. I was taught many generic financial terms and
familiarized myself with the ICOFR controls. Over the week, I expanded my knowledge on MS Excel and
honed in on the application of pivot charts/tables to real-life scenarios – I applied this knowledge by
completing various PO (Purchase-Order) forms that were sent to huge suppliers.

Voluntary Mathematics Tutor – De Lisle College: October 2022 – February 2023

I was selected by the Mathematics Department at De Lisle College to tutor year 7 and year 8 students who
struggled with mathematics. I had a group of four year 7 students and four year 8 students. The students
went on to have assessments after a three-week period of my tutoring and the majority vastly improved
their scores and I also had very positive student feedback, with all my students wanting to retain their
tutoring sessions with me.

Voluntary Karate Instructor – JKS Loughborough: 2018 – PRESENT

Teach a wide demographic of students with ages ranging from 5 to 60 plus years. Teaching a high intensity,
fun class, whilst simultaneously, fully engaging the students. My achievements have enabled me to
represent my karate club at national and international karate courses, often asked to perform in front of
500+ students.

Voluntary Work – Geeta Bhawan Community Centre: 2016 – PRESENT

Active member of the community, my roles are as follows: help put up chairs and assemble tables in
preparation for any upcoming events within the temple, cleaning tables after such events, serving food and
cleaning/drying dishes.

Activities

I am a loyal member of the Loughborough Dynamo football team. I am an active member of the team, and
have been for the previous 11 years, I have also captained the team for a majority of this duration. This has
enhanced my leadership portfolio, as well as increasing my proficiency within a team by successfully
integrating myself to meet the desired objective.

My other passion is karate, where I was one of the youngest members of the prestigious club to obtain a
black belt at the age of 12, graduating to a second dan at age 14. I have ascended through the grading and
was awarded a promotion to a voluntary instructor at age 12. My self-belief, discipline and motivation
arises from the key principles taught during karate, which I can apply to all aspects of my professional and
personal endeavours.
