Rules and Regulations

1. The Tournament is open to Tamil Nadu Players only.
2. TNSCA Registration 2023-24 Mandatory.
3. The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be
followed
4. Time Control: Each 20 minutes
5. The first round will commence at 9:00 AM on 29/04/2023 The number of
rounds and the round-wise schedule will be announced at the tournament
venue.
6. Players are requested to bring their own international chess sets (and chess
clock if, any).
7. Tiebreak: Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, Sonneborn - Berger, Direct
encounter, The greater number of wins with forfeits and number of wins
with Black pieces. In case of tie, prizes will not be shared.
8. The Chief Arbiter's ' decisions' shall be final and binding on all players
concerned.
9. Age proof Certificate must be produced for Children’s category prizes.
10. Entries close at 5:00P.M on 27/04/2023 No entry will be entertained after
5 P.M on 27/04/2023 Strictly no Spot Entries.
11. The TNSCA / Tiruvallur District / organizer ARS Chess Academy reserve
the rights of admission to the venue and lodging place
12. Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants.
13. All the Participate must follow COVID 19 precautionary.

Free Medical Camp will be organised on 29 April at the Event Venue - Sri
Lalithambigai Medical College and Hospital. Also Medical Cards will be
issued to the participants family. 25 Percent Discount in investigation
will be provided for the Card holders.
