INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to this online training on Trainer’s Methodology Level I course for the Plan
Training session Module 1 . This unit covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes in
identifying learners training requirements, plan training session, prepare instructional
materials, prepare assessment tools and organize teaching and learning resources.

Learning Outcome 4 : Prepare assessment tools (institutional) (8 hours)

OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this learning outcome, you should be able to:

• Identify, read and interpret relevant modules of instruction are to identify the required
evidence.
• Determine evidence requirements which show full coverage of the training module
to be assessed and a consistent performance of the relevant learning activities.
• Identify and select suitable assessment methods are which are appropriate with the
learning outcome of a module of instruction.
• Prepare assessment instruments in accordance with the content and learning
outcome specified under the assessment criteria of a module of instruction.
• Check assessment instruments for validity, fairness, safety and cost
effectiveness.
