2. What do you think the responsibility of a discussion leader? --> A leader has a responsibility in a
discussion, he must ensure that the discussion goes well, listen carefully, respect various opinions,
involve all parties to participate in the discussion, and make decisions for the common interest.

3. What are they discussing about (in video 1 and 2)? -->

a. video 1 : Video 1 is about homework, the 4 of them discuss the homework done by elementary school
children, in the discussion some agree that homework is fun and want children to get more homework,
but there are also those who disagree with it because only educated parents feel comfortable helping
their children with homework.

b. video 2 : In the 2nd video they discuss the issue of transitioning from school to university. They
discuss 2 issues, one about time management and the other about working in groups. The first
discussion is about time management, in which Dennis and Jenny argue that students should start
planning 3 types of schedules, such as semester planning, weekly planning, and daily planning. Then the
second discussion discussed working in groups, in the discussion they agreed that group work must all
contribute, no one dominates, then in group work must know each other in order to build good working
relationships.
