Officers Of the Crew of Cadets College of Maritime Studies University of Antique Sibalom, Antique
Dear Captain Aira Mae Loreña,
A pleasant day to you Captain, I am Adrian C. Canja, 18 years of age and an
aspiring seafarer one of this days. Having been accepted to the College of Maritime Studies here at UA and was assigned to BSMarE 1-Alpha is already a great milestone for me, most especially that it is my dream to be a marine and go on a Voyage someday. When I saw officers passing by Having the discipline, unity, and the camaraderie within themselves I was inspired and was intrigued at same time for how much time they have spent into training just to attain that level of discipline and because of that I aspire to be like them. When I saw your announcement that you are searching for new set of aspirants for the Officers of the Crew Cadets I knew it is my Chance. One reason why I want to be part of the Officers of the Crew of Cadets is to instill discipline within myself as well as instilling discipline to others. Furthermore, I would like to continue honing my leadership skills that was started back in high school as Supreme Student Government (SSG) President but in a more disciplined and well-mannered way. Also, I want to prove my determination and commitment to this department, I want to contribute to something that not only the cadets will benefit and look up to but the whole school will be proud of having. Lastly, I want to apply because I want to prove to myself that I can be as disciplined as I can be, I wanted to improve myself both mentally and Physically. I will work harder and dedicate myself into this great responsibility that I know will contribute big time to my personal Growth. I humbly believe that I am a suitable candidate for the Officer of the Crew Cadet. Sincerely yours,
