Guard instructions:
As a security guard, you are responsible for the area you are working in and the safety and security of
everything and everyone around you.
K4 Expectations:
We are better than the other companies, we look after you and need to be on top of your game as a
professional. Make sure you are serious about safety and security
You are required to wear the uniform, if you need a uniform don't hesitate to get in touch with the
office.
Log Book:
Please make sure all paperwork is completed for the site and to the best of your ability. Log books
are official and can be sued for evidence so make sure they are accurate and correct.
Needs user interaction from the person because they need to tap the tag with their phones in order
for the tag to register them and for the check-in to happen
To use NFC tags, the mobile phone needs to support this functionality. Supported devices are iPhone
7 and newer models with iOS 13 or above. For Android, the functionality is available on most phones
released since 2012.
We have Set up checkpoints at a site and incorporated them into a Route that the people
need to cover during their shift. you will have the Route information in their shift details so
they can easily follow it when checking in.
Control is there to support and monitor your safety and client satisfaction, you can contact control on
02031433998 and opt 1 to speak to any other controller.
Control is the POC for all incidents and issues and fill in the link as requested by control making sure
its accurate as possible.
K4 Security Guard instructions
These requirements are non-negotiable and should be followed unless you have been informed
differently by your manager. Please see below.
• For all male officers you should be clean-shaven or have a neatly trimmed beard
• PPE (Hi-Viz Vests, Jackets Toe capped boots, and Tactical Vest) If site requires should always be
worn and kept in good condition.
If any officers are found to not be wearing the correct uniform they will not be paid for the shift and
if it becomes a reoccurring issue disciplinary action may be taken.
The Company and more so yourselves will often be judged on the initial impression given by your
appearance and not wearing the correct uniform can have a negative effect on our relationship with
our clients.
If you do require any new uniform or there is any part of the above that you are unsure, please don’t
hesitate to contact your line manager or supervisor
