Dear Sir/ Madam

I would like to apply for the position of a Production Arts Pathway Assistant at
Guildhall School of Drama and Music. I have attached a copy of my CV to further
support my application.

Currently, I am studying the level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production

and Technology which I will achieve a grade for in August. I have previously
achieved a Pass grade in my Diploma in Creative Media Production, in which I
Planned, Produced and Presented a Trailer for a new romantic film. I think that my
pass grade reflects my strong level of performance and good skills in Trailer
Production. Through this course, I have managed to learn a variety of different
software such as: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop as well as using
technical equipment. I have also gained the knowledge, understanding and key skills
on the running of the industry .

When achieving my final grade, In the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media
Production and Technology Course, I am confident and prepared to work with a
company like (xxx) to further my knowledge, skills and understanding of the industry
further.

My passion for Production Arts started back when I was 14 years old as I was one of
the backstage crew in the school production of ‘OZ Reimagined’ where I had to
monitor the microphones, the moving of props and cast members on & off the stage
and making sure the lighting was on the right actor at the right time.This continued
when I went to watch Macbeth In Liverpool at the theatre as I loved the experience of
being able to watch the show on stage and see all the special effects taking place in
real life.

I am highly and self - motivated, driven to achieve and punctual towards anything I
put my mind to. I am friendly and outgoing when meeting new people and think I
would fit in well when working with others as part of a team. I believe that these all
lead up to being the perfect candidate for the job of Production Arts Pathway
Assistant at Guildhall School of Music and Drama . I am keen for new experiences in
this job sector. I believe that I am a creative and hands on person who is now looking
for a career in stage management. I know this job would be perfect for me because I
have the skills, abilities and personal qualities you are looking for and more.
My hardwork and dedication to learning was rewarded when I received the following
rewards: The Patrick Wilson Award for Endeavour, The Headteacher’s Award and
The ASDAN Alternative Provision Award. These rewards show that I am determined
and willing to work hard and achieve anything that I want to do.
