3. GLOBAL MARKETING COMPTETION OF DAWLANCE:

Dawlance Market Share in Pakistan is 50%+ and it has No. 1 position in 4 out of 5 categories. It
is also exporting products to various countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar , Libya, Nigeria,
Sudan, Kuwait, Iran and Iraq.

Global Competitors of Dawlance:

 BSH Home Appliances:

(BSH Hausgeräte) is a manufacturer of home appliances.

 Miele:

Miele is a manufacturing company that offers domestic appliances and commercial


equipment.

 Grundig Germany:

Grundig is a manufacturer and supplier of home electronics.


 FAE Technology Company:
FAE Technology Company is a provider of water measurement solutions.

 Local Competitors of Dawlance:

Corona:
It is the pioneer of finely produced home appliances in Pakistan. Corona is the only brand which
is manufactured completely in Pakistan. It is profoundly known as the leader of the local home
appliances market.

PORTER FIVE FORCES:


As we talk about Dawlance it has a high threat from new
substitues.
In Pakistan the biggest fear for Devance am the Chinese products,
Threat of Substitutes HIGH
which are alternative choice for the consumers.
These products are low-priced and technology orientedand people
can simply afford them.

Dawlance is efficiently working with its suppliers by creating


balance between the supplier's powers and interests of the
company.
Bargaining Power of Suppliers LOW
So Dawlance is signing long-term agreements with suppliers
concerning the raw materials, which can save the company from
prices fluctuations of the materials.

Dawlance is facing the threat of new entrants in the home


appliances industry.
Threat of New Entrants HIGH The new entrants can be potential competitors for the company
and can severely dent the company and can affect company's
market share.

In Market there are so many substitutes for home appliances


products specifically foreign brands and Chinese products as
Dawlance can affect by much situation that the bargaining power
Bargaining Power of Customers HIGH of consumers remains high and consumer demand to decrease the
prices of Dawlance products company does not work accordingly
it will affect Dawlance market share, an consumer will witch to
any other

Dawlance is coming up with more innovations as the competition


is rising day by day and many competitions like LG Sony and Hair
Competitive Rivalry in the Industry etc are competing in the market and to survive in the market
HIGH Dawlance in focusing on innovative home appliances for them to
increase the profit of the organization and to gain the edge over its
competition
