Choose an `Issue’ or a `Phenomenon’ -introduce, elaborate and define how your
understanding of the same will eventually culminate into an Architectural Project.

1.2 Aim:
Aim expresses the intention or an aspiration of the Thesis.
It summarizes in a single sentence what you hope to achieve at the end of your thesis project.

1.3 Objectives:
Objectives outline the specific steps that you will take to achieve your `Aim’.
Objectives can be expressed in the form of points say-1,2,3
1.3.1- What you want to study.

1.3.3 -How you are going to apply or utilize the knowledge acquired out of the study (research) to
Shape / Strategies your design decisions.

1.4 Hypothesis:
(Hypothesis- is from the Greek word hypothesis basis, supposition.)

Hypothesis is one sentenced statement of what you think you are going to prove
in your thesis. It is a single line statement which may be proved or disproved.

III. Analysis: SWOT S-strengths (potentials) W-weaknesses (issues) ,O-opportunities and T-Threats
Presenting the same with the help of Analytical drawings and studies
IV. Literature case studies: documentation and critical analysis of the similar projects published
via edited-recognized print media. (Books-Journals-Magazines-Research Papers etc)

1.6 Conclusion: What you think your thesis is going to bring to light (realizations and solutions)
through this process.
