The Corporate & Investment Banking Research & Analytics is an integrated specialist team covering Origination
(Banking and Markets), Products (Securities Services and Treasury Services), Research and Data Analytics
globally. We help global corporations, institutions and organizations of all sizes grow their businesses by
providing cutting edge analytics and solutions. This group provides you with an opportunity to collaborate and
work in a high paced global environment and to develop a wide range of technical (financial, analytical,
quantitative, and coding) and interpersonal skills. Depending upon the function you are part of, you will be

What to Expect

Centralized Research Group

The Centralized Research Group (CRG) is part of CIB R&A covering Banking globally. It works closely with the
firm’s Investment Banking (IB), Commercial Banking (CB) and Global Corporate Banking (GCB) teams offering
customized financial solutions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity / Debt capital raising, Credit, Treasury,
Cash Management, Trade, and Markets, among others.

You will work closely with the Banking teams to assist in automation of various processes required for
conducting research, preparing pitch books & marketing materials that the senior client bankers take to their
clients during meetings.

You’ll make an impact by

• Conceptualizing, designing and developing automation processes like, but not limited to pulling data
from various APIs / databases and presenting them in consumable format
• Documenting and taking ownership of automation processes; both existing and new
• Working on projects to improve data quality & operational efficiency
• Collaborating in a team environment, contributing to the overall goals of the firm
• Fostering good relationships with colleagues
• Clearly communicating in written and oral forms including presentations and models
• Building your network across the firm including peers, mentors and senior executives

About you

General requirements
• Detail oriented with good quantitative & analytical skills
• Highly motivated team player with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in functional programming languages like Python and/or C++ is necessary
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, VBA and other productivity tools
• Problem-solving ability and general understanding of statistics
• Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, and/or iOS
• Experience in statistical tools like R is a plus
• Experience or interest in Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing is a plus
• Experience in front-end development frameworks like Django is a plus
 • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, AutoHotKeys is a plus
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, RSS feeds is a plus
• Experience with the Software Development life cycle would be a plus
• Pursuing a qualification degree with expected completion date in 2024/2025
